COVID-19 (updated 01/02/22)
Nearly 2 years later and COVID doesn't seem to be going anywhere. We still continue to take every precaution for both the safety & health of our clients, as well as the sitters and their families. We have taken the COVID-19 Certification course provided by Pet Sitters International (PSI), and we will continue to stay informed through the CDC website on current safety practices as they are updated.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US (the sitters)

  • sitters are wearing masks inside client homes if a human client is home too (ie, for some daily/weekly dog walks, or for a new client meeting)

  • sitters are using hand sanitizer before and after every single visit

  • sitters will not work if they have any symptoms and/or suspect they have been exposed

  • sitters are being responsible in their personal lives with mask-wearing and/or vaccination, good hand-washing practices, etc.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU (the client)

  • if you are experiencing any symptoms and/or suspect you have been exposed to COVID, PLEASE err on the side of caution and cancel your visit(s) with us. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for any clients who knowingly expose any of our sitters to COVID.

  • with the exception of holiday bookings, cancellation fees will be waived in these situations as we greatly appreciate your cooperation in keeping sitters safe & working!

  • if you are home for our weekly/daily walks, please maintain at least 6-foot social distancing; wearing a mask is appreciated but not required

  • as much as we love socializing with our human clients when we see you, during these times, please do not be offended if we have to limit our interactions while indoors for safety reasons – we still love ya! :)
